Hard sell: Babolat says the Aero Storm is a new frame within its popular Aero range geared towards performance players. It will help produce a faster swing with greater response and fabulous feel. The Cortex System technology helps filter out vibrations on impact. The racket comes strung with a hybrid combination different strings used for the crosses and the mains which is how a lot of the pros now ask for their rackets to be strung.

Tennishead says: This is a quality racket, no mistake. It’s easy to understand why many of the sport’s top players use Babolat rackets. With a digital analysis reading of 67, it’s a pretty stiff frame (which means it’s powerful), but we found it had good feel too. It’s not too head-heavy so it’s easy to manouvre and gives a sweet strike out of the middle. A big thumbs up.
