To start, Daniil Medvedev was knocked out of the US Open by Nick Kyrgios but the match wasnāt without controversy including an incident involving the Australianās support team that the Russian wasnāt impressed about
āIt was 6-5 for him, first set, 40-30 on my serve. Just before the second serve somebody from his box was, āCāmon, get himā.
āThatās not nice. You shouldnāt do it when youāre in the otherās box before the second serve. I told this to the umpire. I donāt know who exactly it was. People who I see from him, actually must be honest, I donāt know their names, but we just talked in the locker room. So I respect them like probably I respect almost every other team.

In other news, Victoria Azarenka has spoken up about the problems of player-coach dynamics on the WTA tour after advancing to the fourth round of the US Open.
Azarenka, who is a prominent member of the WTA player council, spoke after defeating Petra Martic in the third round.
āItās a very sensitive subject, because you wonāt hear those stories unless players come out and tell those stories,ā she explained. āIt happens right and left on the tour, which is unfortunate.

Furthermore, Mats Wilander believes Coco Gauff is ready to win the US Open, saying there are āno holesā in her game.
After watching her beat Zhang Shuai 7-5, 7-5 to move menacingly into the quarterfinals, Wilander thinks she can go one better in New York.
āBoth Coco Gauff and Zhang were hitting the ball as hard as they could today, but the difference is Coco Gauff she can do that, but also defend,ā Wilander told Eurosport.
