The 15-year-old succeeds Thailand’s Noppawan Lertcheewakarn, who she beat in the final at SW19 last July to emerge on the world stage.

Robson, who is the youngest player in the top 30, also reached the final at the Australian Open in January and already has a senior title under her belt.

The Wimbledon resident is currently at a career-high senior ranking of 499, making her the British number 13.
