TennisTV.com launches with a classic

The Sony Ericsson WTA Tour and ATP World Tour launched TennisTV.com on Wednesday and were blessed with a classic to kick-start the new broadband TV console.

The new official live streaming website of the two tours provides fans with unique access to live and on demand tennis.

Subscribers were treated to a marathon between Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki on the first day of the new website, a match the American finally won 7-6 in the decider after saving two match points.

Covering a total of 41 events, more than 700 live matches from both tours will now be available online from this weeks Medibank International in Sydney, right through to the 2009 Sony Ericsson Championships in Doha and the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London.

A variety of packages are available to subscribers either women’s or men’s events or a combination of both.

Therell also be interviews, behind the scenes footage and daily roundups. Free and in-depth highlights will also be available from both men’s and women’s tours.
