tennishead magazine: November issue out now!

It seems quite some time ago now but, particularly if you’re British, maybe it still hasn’t quite sunk in that after all those close-but-no-celebratory-Lemon-Soda attempts, Andy Murray is finally a Grand Slam champion. Our November issue reflects on the moment Murray joined an illustrious club and what may come next for the Scot as he bids to build up a collection of the biggest prizes in tennis. Fellow US Open champion Serena Williams is already well down that road, leading many from within the game to declare the 15-time Grand Slam champion is the greatest female player of all time. We take a look at whether those calls are justified, given that Serena still lies sixth in the list of most singles majors won and is still a good nine off the tally of 24-time winner Margaret Court.

Elsewhere in the issue, we bid farewell to two of the most popular players on the tour, Andy Roddick and Kim Clijsters, who each won Grand Slams, held the No.1 ranking and had a real impact on and off court during their time on tour. Laura Robson, fresh from becoming the first British WTA Tour finalist since Jo Durie in 1990, takes centre stage in our ‘Hot Stuff’ feature in this issue, while we go behind the scenes at the ATP as media man Nicola Arzani explains the challenges of managing the relationship between the players and the world’s press.

This gripping page-turner doesn't stop there. Frenchmen Fabrice Santoro and Sebastian Grosjean also talk to us, we’ve pinned down US Open champions Bob and Mike Bryan while Kevin Anderson reveals all about his match-day diet and Radek Stepanek talks to us about his Bosworth racket. We also take a look at the ins and outs of playing college tennis, Janko Tipsarevic tells us about taking his turn as a teacher through Technifibre’s Next Generation project and we profile both the Fed Cup final and the year-end WTA Championships with Prague set to host the Czech Republc v Serbia soon after Istanbul has welcomed the world's top eight singles and doubles players for a second successive year.

There’s our usual round up of all the ATP and WTA results, not to mention the US Open – a collectors' edition for Murray fans – and plenty more gear nuggets and academy advice to sink your teeth into.

In short – it's a gripper. Get hold of your copy now!
