They’d have us believe they’re grinding away on the practice courts, figuring out their next opponent, or busting a gut in the gym.

Truth is, they’re no different to you and I. While they’re meant to be grafting away earning an honest living, what are they doing? Fannying about on Facebook, that’s what.

We spent an embarrassingly long time digging around for pros on the aforementioned social networking site and compiled rankings based on their number of friends.

Frenchman Richard Gasquet appears to be the most popular man on the tour (a dubious 2,290), but we’re thrilled to see our very own Jamie Murray in second spot with a whopping 730, a full 19 places higher than younger brother Andy, who can only muster an unfriendly 156. The less said about the popularity of Swedish doubles specialist Simon Aspelin, the better.

Come back every fortnight for an update and new entries.
