Players to watch in 2020/21: Matteo Berrettini

If the tennis tour does return in 2020 or early 2021 then who are the players to watch out for? Which youngsters could make the biggest impact. Here tennishead picks a player who could make a real impact: Matteo Berrettini

After his stunning progress in 2019, Matteo Berrettini will look forward with great optimism to 2020. The 23-year-old Italian qualified for the year-end Nitto ATP Finals with a great late run and showed that he is a player to be feared on all surfaces. Berrettini won titles on clay and grass, in Budapest and Stuttgart, and enjoyed his best run in a Grand Slam tournament when he reached the semi-finals on the US Open’s hard courts.
