Murray and American Huber claimed an early break and eventually went on to take the opening set 6-2.

The second proved a more hard-fought affair and went with serve until at 5-5, Murray and Huber took the upper hand after again breaking their opponents before serving out for victory.

The number four seeds now face Israel’s Andy Ram and Nathalie Dechy from France in the second round.
