Novak Djokovic receives Wimbledon trophy from Kate Middleton. Tickets for Wimbledon 2020 close today

Last chance to register for 2020 Wimbledon tickets

Today is the last day that you can register for the new online version of the Wimbledon public ballot to win tickets for the 2020 tournament

Wimbledon organisers have decided to make the public ballot a completely online process as of next year which means that anyone who wants to enter and be registered for tickets needs to have complete the necessary online registration process no later than midnight today.

Every year millions of tennis fans hope to win tickets via the different ballots on offer and the public ballot is always very popular as it gives normal members of the public the chance to visit the world’s most famous tennis tournament.

Tickets are notoriously hard to come by as they can’t be bought and sold on the open market. There are a number of ways to get your hands on tickets but the public ballot is the most fair of these in that it allows anyone to simply register their interest and be drawn at random from the ballot.

To enter the ballot for 2020 Wimbledon tickets you need to visit Wimbledon.com no later than midnight today
