The Serb will be contesting her first final since winning the French Open in June when she clashes with second-seeded Russian Vera Zvonareva on Sunday.

Since winning at Roland Garros and taking over the world number one ranking as a result, Ivanovic had won just seven of her last 14 matches before this event.

The 20-year-old was the top seed at both Wimbledon and the US Open but failed to reach the fourth round at either event and has dropped to fourth in the rankings.

Ivanovic converted seven of 10 break points to improve to 3-0 against third seed Radwanska, who is having a career-best

season with three titles.

Both Ivanovic and Zvonareva will be seeking their third title of the season and eighth overall when they meet for the sixth time.

Zvonareva needed just 52 minutes to brush aside sixth-seeded Frenchwoman Marion Bartoli 6-0 6-1 and reach her seventh final of the year.
