Federer to make Halle decision

The 27-year-old has won the Wimbledon warm-up event five times in the last six years – choosing not to play in 2007 – but is “emotionally exhausted” after his victory over Robin Soderling in Paris on Sunday.

Federer’s manager Tony Godsick denied reports he had already decided not to play, saying: “There has definitely not been a refusal from Roger yet, all other reports are untrue.”
