Dusan Lajovic tournament schedule 2020

Serbian player Dusan Lajovic won his very first tournament at the Croatia Open in 2019. Can 2020 turn into a dream season for this gritty baseliner?

Dusan Lajovic started his 2019 season in Qatar and advanced to the quarter finals, but was beaten by Marco Cecchinato. The player was not performing his best for the first few months of the ATP Tour, however he was able to reach the Monte-Carlo Masters final, but lost to Italian player Fabio Fognini.

Lajovic had his second chance at winning a tournament final in Umag 2019, this time he won by defeating Attila Balazs in straight sets 7-5, 7-5. This however, was his only tournament win of the season and in fact of is career since he turned pro in 2007.

The Serbian began his 2019 season at No.45 in the ATP Tour rankings and rose to No.23 in April 2019. The player dropped back down to No.35 for the end of the season. Will he be able to enter the top 25 again in the 2020 season?
