Novak Djokovic concentrates on a backhand at French Open 2020

“Djokovic is the one with the answers” Former world No.4 explains reason for Serb’s dominance

Tim Henman feels that when he watches Novak Djokovic play it always seems like he’s the one winning the long baseline rallies

Novak Djokovic always seems to have the upper hand in the long baseline rallies, combined with the ability to find the power and precision required to hit the passing shots.

Djokovic had just scored another impressive Roland Garros win this time cruising past RussianKaren Khachanov in the 4th round to set up a mouth-watering quarter final tie against Pablo Carreno Busta, the man he was playing when he was shockingly defaulted from the US Open last month.

Henman, who is working for Eurosport throughout the tournament, was asked what he thought about the Novak Djokovic victory over Khachanov when he said, “It’s something that we’re very used to seeing because they are playing some great tennis out there, amazing baseline exchanges, but you always feel like Djokovic is the one who is going to come up with the answers. Djokovic with his movement and his flexibility to be able to find the power and the precision on those passing shots it’s incredibly impressive to watch.”
