Bondarenko, the 25-year-old fourth seed, beat Israel’s Shahar Peer 6-2 6-4.
Peer, the second seed, was unable to dominate on her own serve which was broken five times in the match.
Bondarenko saved five break points in the first set, and managed to take two of three chances to break Peer’s serve.
Although Bondarenko’s serve was less secure in the second set, three breaks to two in her favour secured the title.
Bondarenko won her first tour title in Luxembourg in 2006, and is ranked 32nd in the world, which means she is seeded for the upcoming Australian Open.
“I have waited a couple of years for this title and I’m happy I won. I hope it’s not the last for this year,” Bondarenko said.
Peer, 22, is also seeded for the Melbourne Park grand slam.
