The draw for the inaugural BNP Paribas Showdown for the Billie-Jean King Cup all-star exhibition event has been made.

The tournament features Venus and Serena Williams and super Serbs Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic. The foursome will be battling it out at New Yorks Madison Square Garden on March 2.

Dubbed Tennis Night in America, the indoor exho will feature a unique format, with two semi-finals preceding a final on the same night.

Ivanovic has been drawn to take on Serena while Venus and JJ will battle it out in the other semi.

The semi-finals are just one set, with no-ad scoring, while the final will be the best of three sets, with a champions tie-break if the first two sets are split.

“Im very happy to be taking part,” said Ivanovic on her personal website.

“I think New York is a very special place and Im very much looking forward to playing a match there.

I heard a lot about Madison Square Garden as well, but I have never had the privilege to play there or visit until now. I’m sure its going to be a very exciting event.”
