Alexander Zverev at the 2020 Australian Open

Updated: Alexander Zverev tournament schedule 2020

Alexander Zverev has had a mixed start to the 2020 season, with a poor ATP Cup performance followed by his first semi-final at a Grand Slam.

The German player lost all three of his matches at the ATP Cup, as he struggled with his second serve. He then had a brilliant run at the Australian Open, reaching a Grand Slam semi-final for the first time in his career. He lost to Dominic Thiem in the semi-final, but won some tricky matches en-route with wins over Andrey Rublev and Stan Wawrinka.

Alexander Zverev has won 13 ATP titles since going pro in 2013, two of which are for doubles. His only 2019 addition to the collection was at the Geneva Open where he beat Jarry 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(8).

Zverev began his 2019 season at No.4 of the ATP Tour rankings and bounced around in different Top 10 since, before finishing the season at No.7. Will he be able to remain in the Top 10 for the 2020 season?
